Dr. Kapoor completed his Primary Care/Internal Medicine training at Yale University and Cardiology fellowship training at Stanford University with advanced training in Cardiovascular Imaging. He is triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. He obtained his MD and PhD degrees from the Chicago Medical School where he graduated with highest honors and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha society for his academic achievements. Dr. Kapoor serves as a reviewer for many scholarly medical journals. He has published numerous scientific articles and gives frequent educational lectures to doctors on topics in primary care, preventative medicine, and cardiovascular diseases. He holds the rank of Professor of Medicine at the Chicago Medical School.
